The Pharmacists Comprehensive Abortion and Reproductive Health Empowerment (Pharmacists CARE) Initiative aims to expand access to medication abortion and comprehensive reproductive health services in California pharmacies and beyond. This includes the development of training programs and an implementation toolkit for pharmacies to become certified to dispense medications and provide the full range of reproductive health services, as well as a mini-grants to support pharmacies in establishing new services.
Earn up to 1 contact hours (0.1 CEUs) of ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit.
Earn up to 20 hours of ACPE-accredited continuing education. The Reproductive Health Certificate Program equips pharmacists with the skills and confidence to become indispensable resources in the reproductive health space, bridging gaps in care and improving patient outcomes. Open to pharmacists and pharmacy students in all states.
Continuing pharmacy education programs have been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) through the joint providership of University Learning Systems and Birth Control Pharmacist. University Learning Systems is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
